This resource exists to help you access your affiliate reports and to promote the Writers' Marketing Toolbox so that you can make more sales and thus build up your monthly recurring commission.
to access your affiliate statistics (go to "Accounting" and then "RevShare Statistics"). You will need your ID and password to gain access.

Cheques/checks for your recurring commissions are issued on the 8th and 22nd of each month only when the sum of said commissions is at least $50. Payment will always be about 1 month in arrears. 




AFFILIATE LINKS AND BANNERS


You may use the code below on your own site/ezine/ads but please remember to insert your own affiliate ID number (written as YOURIDHERE in the code)! This ID is the same as your affiliate username and begins with "wap" followed by a number.




1. WEBSITE TEXT LINK









Remember to replace YOURIDHERE with your RevShare ID!

Copy the code in the box and paste it to your web page.


2. EZINE LINK


Placing the URL above in an ezine is going to look very unsightly! If you have
your own domain then use a simple redirect page.

You can do this by copying & pasting the following code into a new index page within a new folder on your website. The folder name should be descriptive of the URL, such as in the example below.

Then, in your ezine, or ad, just place:
"http://www.yourdomain.com/wmtoolbox"
and that will redirect those who click on it through to your affiliate link!

Additional tips for Ezine links

    

  1. Some email software will sever links (and make them 'unclickable') if they are longer than 65 CPL (characters per line). 

  2. Both links and email addresses in plain text email must be made 'hot' (clickable) for AOL users by adding the appropriate HTML (see text box below).

  3. The text below contains a redirect link that will be 'hot' for both AOL and non-AOL users (tip: choose a very short domain name so that you can keep it under 65 cpl!).

    The text below is 61 characters in length (keep the spaces around the URL or it may not work for non-AOL users).





3. BANNERS

You may use the following banners on your website. To do this you must:

    

  1. Right-click the banner of your choice.

  2. Select "Save Image/Picture As..." in the grey pop-up menu

  3. Save the image to your hard drive (remember where!)

  4. Upload the saved banner to your website

  5. If you save the image to a folder on your site, then adjust the code below to indicate the right path (it is setup by default as if the image were unfoldered)

  6. If you have changed the banner's filename, then make sure you change the filename to match in the code below

  7. Do not link to Writers-and-Publishers.com to display these banners. You must upload them to your own website as described above

  8. Remember to place your own RevShareID in the code where it reads YOURIDHERE !

  9. These points apply to all banners, and their codes, below.
